Fatigue & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in Snohomish
The alarm goes off again. No, not today. You feel like you don’t even have the energy to move, let alone get out of bed, or go to work. There’s no way you can cook, or clean either. How many sick days have you used so far? Hopefully, you won’t get in trouble for missing work. There is that deadline looming though. Additionally, you were also really hoping to see your kids’ show this evening. But there’s no way that’s happening now either. Just how long will it last this time?
If this sounds like you, you may be suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in Snohomish. This life-limiting disease limits your ability to work and play the way you normally do. According to the Mayo Clinic, there are two types. The first one is Occasional fatigue, which is struggling with being overtired or overworked from time to time. In these cases, you can usually identify the cause. The second, more serious one is Chronic fatigue, which lasts much longer and is more pronounced. It’s a near-constant state of weariness. This lack of energy usually develops over time. It dampens your energy and mental capacity. It can also impact your emotional and psychological well-being.
Medicine has no Answers
Sadly, modern medicine really doesn’t have an answer to chronic fatigue syndrome. According to the Merck Manual, drugs range from antidepressants, to sleep medications to pain medications. But most people don’t realize that pain medications lose their effectiveness over time. They can also be addictive. Unfortunately, sleep medications can also be addictive. Lastly, antidepressants come with some serious side effects.
Our approach in Snohomish to More Energy
Did you know there are four important organs that can affect your energy levels? In fact, they are your adrenal glands, your thyroid, your women’s or men’s hormones, and your digestion. And while I don’t diagnose or treat any disease (including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), I can help support healthy energy levels. This may boil down to helping your adrenals, digestion, thyroid, and/or gonad hormones work properly. And this plan usually includes custom dietary changes and the correct enzyme supplements. Of course, I only make recommendations after scientific testing based on sound medical principles.
Are you running out of energy too quickly? Or maybe you’re tired all the time. Perhaps you spend all day on the couch or in bed. Are you missing out on work family or fun? If so, give us a call and set up a consultation. I will personally sit down with you and talk about your suffering and how it affects your life. I will even do some preliminary testing as well as Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA). In fact, did you know that both NASA and Cancer Treatment Centers of America rely on BIA? These tests help me determine if you are a good candidate for care. If you’re not, we’ll make every effort to provide the proper referral.
